We hope you will enjoy looking through our school's website and that it gives you a flavour of school life at Accrington Benjamin Hargreaves Church of England Primary School, however, the only way to get the complete picture is to come and visit us. Accrington Benjamin Hargreaves Church of England Primary School aims to provide the highest standards of education and care, where we all work by our vision:

Our Christian vision leads all of our work at school. We welcome all children and families.

I am honoured to have become the new headteacher of Benjamin Hargreaves from January 2025.

Benjamin Hargreaves is a small school with five classes across the school, which means some of our classes are mixed-aged. The positive is that it only emphasises our ‘family feel’. At Benjamin Hargreaves, we work together to ensure that our children attain excellent academic standards and become the best versions of themselves.

Benjamin Hargreaves is proud to be part of the Learning Together Trust family of schools. We are one of six schools within a Trust, which gives us excellent collaboration opportunities, support, and challenge to ensure that Benjamin Hargreaves is the best it can be for its community.

At Benjamin Hargreaves, we are on a mission to ensure that we provide an excellent standard of education for each child.

Please be aware that up to August 2025, I will be reviewing a number of policies and procedures, so please keep checking back to our website to be aware of any changes.
